So I started in May by trying to flip stock, buy one day and sell the next for a minimal profit using the price range that the stock had been in for the past week or so. Check out my YouTube videos to see this approach. I used TradingView for their free charts that are awesome, and they have a ton of tools. However, In August the stocks I picked hit a downward trend and now I’m stuck holding them. I’ve taken a loss on a few but have held off taking major losses. I went from daily to weekly YouTube videos during this time as there was not much activity happening. In Order to make up for some of the losses I sold options, covered calls, while holding the stocks. Overall I realized I needed to change my strategy.
